eCorpse is an experiment in collaborative storytelling. The primary inspiration for this project was the Exquisite Corpse method of writing devised by French surrealists in the early 1900s, where each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, but... he's only allowed to see the end of what the previous person contributed.
In a similar fashion, eCorpse stories are created through a chain of e-mails, where each successive participant can only see a small part of the previous contribution to the overall story. Once the predetermined number of steps have been completed, the final story is posted here and all participants are notified.
